Drew Vics
Drew Vics was born, Andrew Vics Jr., at Tachikawa A.F.B., Tokyo, Japan, to parents serving in the U.S. Air Force. His father was a radio DJ on base for a time, and in later years played a key roll in Drew's appreciation of music, especially country music, which has obviously had a strong influence on him, judging by a few tracks on the CD No more waiting.
After moving to various states around the country Drew's family settled in Dover, New Jersey. That's where he began showing great interest in music.
Oddly enough, Drew began his musical journey on the drums and plans to buy another set one day, much to his wife's dismay. He's also informed her that at some point he must begin his dream of guitar collecting.
Moving from Dover to the Hardyston area years later, Drew developed his guitar skills and throughout high school (he attended Wallkill Regional) played with various musicians and bands until finally connecting with John Frawley, a keyboardist and sax player, who he still performs with today. In his own unique style, John has contributed greatly to many of Drew's original songs.
